Avery Pearson

AVERY PEARSON is a comedian, composer, actor, writer and musician from Toronto whose original comedy music has landed on Broadway, network awards shows, and TV. He most recently wrote the opening number for Jeff Ross's Broadway/Netflix show Take a Banana for the Ride at the Nederlander Theatre, and has written and performed live opening numbers on ABC for NFL Honors (with Keegan-Michael Key) and The ESPYs (with Steph Curry and Jay Pharoah). Avery works extensively with Kevin Hart's Hartbeat Productions — writing and performing alongside Kevin Hart, Kenan Thompson, MGK, Becky G, and Kenny G on Emmy-winning Olympic Highlights, Back That Year Up, and Good Sports — and served as Music Director on Netflix's Historical Roasts with Jeff Ross. TV credits include Suits, Masters of Sex, and Iliza's Locals. A fixture of the LA comedy scene with monthly residencies at the Hollywood Improv and the Comedy Store, he tours his musical comedy show Comedian Rhapsody at clubs and festivals internationally. His special Give It Up, Avery Pearson was released via Veeps, and he co-wrote a musical about an astronaut love triangle with Arden Myrin set for the stage in 2026.
